First however, a picture of some of the fantastic work Nancy has been doing.
After this it was back to the apartment for trip planning; we're off to Ravenna then the Perugia area tomorrow. I laid out the trip in Google Maps and then "printed" the result to PDF files. I then got an inspiration and went to a place around the corner and had the PDFs printed to paper for 5 Euros.
All of this took time but afterwards we took the Metro up to Termini and went to the Museo Nazionale Romano.Terme Di Diocleziano, the museum in the old Baths of Diocletian. This is in three parts, the baths themselves as an archaeological/tourist site, the museum, and the church that was made out of the greater part of the baths.
What follows is a near endless set of photos from the site and museum. They may seem disjointed because some are from me and some from Nancy, they are inserted in file name order, and her camera uses a different file name format than mine so it's mine first then hers.

You may have noted that I said there were three parts and then went on to describe two. The third part, the church, I haven't seen in years but it is most impressive. To get to it however you have to exit the museum (per the guard) and loop around to the side road. Which we did. However in your looping you should not leave the grounds and go all the way to the street. Which we did.
Our landlady is going in for surgery while we're gone to Ravenna and will be in the hospital until we're gone for good so she wanted to meet to discuss particulars. After some confusion we did but we still have to pack.
So, rather abbreviated tonight.
Never disappointing! Thank you again, Paul! Sending another well-deserved Pat on the back! Love to you both! Happy
